Orphanage Clothing Drive

A local clothing drive led by a Flourish Foundation board member resulted in the collection of two barrels of gently used clothing and accessories to benefit The Bel Air Children's Home and Father Mallaghan's Home for boys in Grenada. Members of both the Atlanta Chapter and Fayette County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. generously participated by donating various clothing items in addition to large quantities of toiletries. Several volunteers contributed their time towards packing, sorting and shipping of the donated items to the Caribbean island.

"Brand You" Workshop Series

As apart of our initiative to encourage growth, The Flourish Foundation delivers a series of job readiness workshops specifically for women who are currently in transition from homelessness or volatile situations. "Brand You" focuses on reviving self-confidence by teaching participants how to position themselves for success. Topics include how to redefine your best and ways to enhance and protect your personal brand.

"Dress For Success" Clothing Drive

The Flourish Foundation plans to facilitate a clothing drive in the metro Atlanta area in efforts to collect business attire and accessories for women in need. A local shelter will be selected to benefit from a "pop-up shop" style event where Flourish volunteers will assist in coordination of job interview ensembles in addition to sharing job readiness tips to help participants prepare for their next job opportunity.
