The 12-week mentoring program that will benefit girls in grade 5th through 8th, who are at high risk of educational failure, teen pregnancy, truancy and juvenile delinquency due to low self-esteem, absence of positive role models and lack motivation or support. This unique program will take place within inner city limits with an initial intake of 15-20 eligible students per school.
The Flourish Foundation program administrators will consist of volunteers who are leading professionals in various fields including finance, medicine, technology, art and education. Each service period will run during the school year, scheduled to launch in the fall of 2017.
